Winners of the 41st annual Pierce College Photo Salon were announced Tuesday night at a reception in the main library.

Here are the winners:

David Bodden – best landscape, first place
Frank Gabriel Garcia – best landscape, second place

Bleu Briggs – open category, first place
Heidi Servin – open category, second place
Jose Pena – open category, honorable mention

Taylor Arthur – best creative, first place
George Apikyan – best creative, second place

Dominique Campos – best portrait, first place
Lorenmylles Galo – best portrait, second place

She Hammond – best photojournalism, first place
Taylor Arthur – best photojournalism, second place
Taylor Arthur – best photojournalism, honorable mention

The competition was open to all Pierce College students. The photos are judged by professional photographers. The winners will receive a small cash prize.

All of the photos from the show will be on display in the back of the library through May 18.
