Media Arts Department students, faculty photos featured in group exhibition

“Sudden Impact,” a group exhibition featuring San Fernando Valley art institutions, including work by Pierce College Media Arts Department students and faculty, will have its opening night from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at 18640 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana.

The exhibition is presented by 11:11 A Creative Collective, a traveling gallery that will feature work by artists from around the San Fernando Valley. Former Pierce College photography student Erin Stone is co-coordinating the effort. Gallery hours are 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The exhibition will run through March 9.

Pierce College faculty participants include Jill Connelly, Sean McDonald and Gerard Burkhart. Students from Pierce College include: Rick Rose, Lynn Levitt, Monica Salazar Jasson Bautista and Juan Becerril.
