Pulitzer Prize-Winning photographer Nick Ut, who captured the famous image of children running from the painful fire of napalm in Vietnam will speak to Pierce students April 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Building 600 as part of the Media Arts Speaker Series. Pierce College’s own Gerard Burkhart is currently being featured as the Artist in Residence at the Mojave National Preserve with his “Shimmering Sky” exhibit.
