The Pierce College Media Arts Department is thrilled to announce the third and final Speakers Series event of the semester!
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Ted Sobel is scheduled to speak at Building 600 at 9:45 a.m. Ted is the longest tenured sports radio personality in Los Angeles, and has covered the world's biggest sporting events, including Super Bowls the NBA Finals, the World Series and the Summer Olympics.

Learn the skills needed to work on every digitally produced film during the Digital Imaging Technician workshop this Friday, May 17 from 2-5 p.m. in Room 8300 in the Village. Pierce photographers will join students from seven other area colleges during College Night at the Getty Center to showcase their work Monday, April 29 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The one night event is themed "Dreaming in Color," and will celebrate color in all its forms, its essence in our dreams, the meaning we give it and the future possibilities it opens.
The night will feature live music by Kronika, art-making activities, scientific experiments, free food, museum tours, a cash bar and exciting surprises.
The event is free, but the Getty asks that everyone attending RSVP at Getty.edu.
