PR expert to speak at Great Hall

The 2017-18 Media Arts Department Speaker Series will kick off Thursday, Sept. 14 with Pam Golum, president of the Lippin Group, talking about public relations. Her firm is one of the top independent entertainment public relations and marketing firms in the world. She has managed projects for The Disney Channel and successful television series, such as the "Law & Order" franchise. Other clients include the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Emmy Awards. The event will take place 7 p.m. at the Great Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be available.
