The Media Arts Film Club is thrilled to announce the third and final screening in its “New Face of Horror” series, a public viewing of the horror film, A Quiet Place!

On Monday, Nov. 18, from 1-4 p.m., the Film Club will screen the Oscar-nominated film A Quiet Place. The 2018 film was released amid rave reviews, and grossed more than $340 million on a budget of only $18 million. A short Q&A discussion will follow, with a panel of students and faculty.

Admission is free and open to students, faculty and community members. Refreshments will be served.

About the Media Arts Film Club Series: Every semester, the Media Arts Department strives to give students the opportunity to watch films chosen by the Film Club. In an effort to discuss the relevancy of art and film – both past and present – the follow-up panels and Q&A sessions will facilitate a discussion between the audience and Film Club students and pre-selected faculty/staff at Pierce College.  Stay tuned for upcoming announcements for future installments in the Film Club Series!

If you need accommodation to participate in this event due to a disability, please contact Sean Collins-Smith at [email protected] or (818) 710-2960, at least five business days in advance.
