Pulitzer Prize-Winning photographer to speak at Pierce

Pulitzer Prize-Winning photographer Nick Ut, who captured the famous image of children running from the painful fire of napalm in Vietnam will speak to Pierce students April 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Building 600 as part of the Media Arts Speaker Series.

Nick Ut went on to become a Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations, win several other photography awards, work as an Associated Press photographer and open the AP office in Hanoi in 1993.

His presentation will be followed by a question and answer period. Don’t miss this Pulitzer Prize-Winning photographer!

Light refreshments will be provided. Admission is free and the event is open to all Pierce College students, faculty, staff and community members. The Media Arts Speaker Series is sponsored by the ASO.
